CareCoach exists to bridge the gap left by absent fathers. We connect boys who need positive male role models with mentors who are committed to making a difference. Through structured mentorship programs, we help restore the father figure in boys' lives, empowering them to reach their full potential.
We believe every boy deserves a mentor who believes in them, guides them, and helps them navigate the challenges of growing up.

Founder
Selepe Sydwell – Founder, CareCoach
CareCoach was born out of lived experience.
Selepe Sydwell grew up without a present father figure, in a rural village with limited access to information, mentorship, and resources. Like many boys, he navigated life largely on his own. There was no one to talk to about identity, relationships, dating, or the serious decisions that shape adulthood, including marriage and responsibility.
That absence led to real struggles and avoidable mistakes. Over time, it became clear that these personal experiences reflected a much bigger problem in society: boys growing up without guidance often become men who are unprepared to lead healthy families and communities.
CareCoach exists because of a simple conviction: young people, especially boys, should not have to figure out life alone.
With over a decade of experience working with communities, congregations, and young people, Selepe Sydwell has seen first-hand how consistent mentorship, presence, and care can change lives. CareCoach is his response to ensure that the next generation has access to the guidance he wished he had.

School-Based Coaching
Our School-Based Coaching programme brings mentorship directly into educational environments, making guidance accessible to boys where they spend most of their time. Through partnerships with schools, we provide structured mentorship sessions, life skills workshops, and one-on-one support that complements academic learning with essential life guidance.
This programme recognizes that schools are not just places of academic learning, but crucial spaces for character development, identity formation, and relationship building. Our coaches work alongside educators to create a holistic support system that addresses both academic and personal growth.
By embedding mentorship within the school environment, we ensure that boys have consistent access to positive role models and guidance throughout their educational journey, helping them navigate challenges and make informed decisions about their futures.
